Stumbled upon something new today.. The CAP (Curious audacious products) Ecxiter IPA.
I won't ramble on to long about this one, it was OK but not fantastic, It was a tad bland. Perhaps more of an ale that would be nice with some Indian or Mexican food than on it's own.
Head white loose, diminishing, few lacings.
Body golden/light amber, somewhat hazy.
Scents; resin, pine, faint notes of malt/malty bread, grapefruit (peel?), notes of orange, smells fresh.
Taste; hops with grapefruit, fruity malts, spices and something else, I think Bovril (yes, Bovril). Well bodied but a tiny bit thin. Not the most balanced IPA I've ever had, but not bad. Short aftertaste with more pine forest, resin, malts and a slight bitterness I can't place that lingers just a little bit longer than it should.
Would I buy this again? Yes, so I can try it with food. As an ale for just drinking I probably won't consider this again.
And some Vikingmetal from the Faroe Islands.

Haha, nah mate, there's this thing called the North Sea between me and England ;) But that sucks, not cool at all, only people who'll buy this KNOW what it is and where it came from.
I've been cheating on brewdog for some time now, right now Revelation Cat is my go to brewery. Two reasons for that, No. 1: It's almost impossible to get anything from Brewdog here now, don't now if it's production problems or what. No. 2: I felt it was time for something new.

I'm in Norway. But mead, uhh.. nope nope nope. Sweetness overload.
